CORUM-XTRA is an advanced selective herbicide formulated with Mesotrione 2.27% and Atrazine 22.7% SC, specially developed for use in maize and sugarcane farming. MODE OF ACTION

  • Mesotrione targets the HPPD enzyme, disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis. This leads to chlorophyll degradation, causing bleaching and ultimately the death of susceptible weeds.
  • Atrazine works by blocking electron transport during photosynthesis in the chloroplast, effectively halting energy production in the weed, which leads to its death.
